In order to supply power and gas market operators with comprehensive IT support, both businesses within Robotron|ECG solutions combine their products: robotron*ecount, robotron*esales and MTS into one software portfolio that is truly unique on the market.

The integration of these software companies is done via flexible interfaces as well as common business logic. Integration is based on an uniform object models within the master data process. The business processes are automated through the application of a common business management tool based on MTS.process.Furthermore, a homogeneous time series model makes the application of the robotron*eprofiler possible, which is used for a complete analysis of the sales and procurement portfolio as well as the visualisation of load curves. With these integrated products, both generic and highly configurable systems are being offered.

Trade, Storage, Transport

The basic module for the virtual and physical gas trade is adapted to each individual business model. It includes the representation of:

• EFET frame contracts
• European transport models (point-to-point, entry-exit, market areas)
• storage products from the perspective of trade including the characteristic storage curves
• swinger distribution
• various contract units (kwh, m³, m³20C) in contract and message processes including conversion with the help of calorific value messages
• various gas day types (0 hr., 6 hr., 8 hr.) including time shifting

Procurement and Sales

Through product synergies and joint advancements in development, qualitatively demanding processes like risk management, forecast and communication are implemented. The central EDM system robotron*esales supports the energy suppliers with functions for quotation costing, product management, price calculation, breakeven analysis and sales controlling. The sales processes can be connected with the functions for procurement, trade, transport and storage in MTS to a complete portfolio management.
